Kellie...we found the right place for the mobile.  I keep staring at it and playing with objects on it.  At night, beautiful shadows are cast from it, an unexpected addition giving it a different depth.  THANK YOU.  (You have visiting rights, I know it was hard to give up the nest....)  Lisa

         DreamArt Exercise:

           Dream Scribble

           © Kellie Meisl

  • Perform this exercise upon waking.
  • Using crayons and your dream journal, draw a quick, spontaneous image that comes to you based on your dream (it is okay if you can't remember the dream). Pick colors that speak to you. Do not worry about detail; simply scribble the image on the page. Try using your non-dominant hand. This should take no more than 5 minutes.
  • Once you are done, jot the first words or phrases that come to mind.
  • This exercise acts as a portal to your subconscious mind and the dream that lies within. You may notice this image  and these words and phrases you use coming up throughout your day.

This is an exercise we do in our DreamArt Class. You can do it in your dream circle, or with a friend or two. First, hold the intention to remember a dream. Then, make your Scribble. When each person is done with the Scribble,  pass it around the circle for one quick word or phrase, based on first impression, to be jotted by each person.
